Holy fuck, I can’t wait to hear what the new Meat Beat Manifesto LP will sound like (it comes out on April 7th). This Lonely Soldiers EP is melting my face right now.

I can’t get over how fresh this new Kelpe joint is.  It’s refreshing to see how live instrumentation is making it’s way back into all sub-genres of electronic music - from Dosh, Chris Clark (sorry, Clark),Tycho, on and on.  A lot of my favorite artists are combining the blips and beeps with live drums, percussion, guitar and field recordings using more live-oriented production techniques.  Now if they’d take live bands on tour with them instead of laptops : )
